Play Nice and Live to See Tomorrow was my freshman attempt at writing a Romantic Suspense novel. Five years ago, I began writing a story during a break at work. I offered the pages to a friend, she read it and asked for more. This continued for a month or so until I realized I was halfway though a novel length story.

Well, I kept typing away and before I knew it, I had completed a novel! I was overjoyed that I actually finished something that was decent, people loved it, and I wanted to get it published. I sent query letters to agents and publishers. Someone wrote me back. They wanted to publish me! I was excited and I'll admit, I didn't do my research, so when the finished project came out, I was disappointed. I had a great story concept, but being the green writer that I was back then, I didn't realize everything that needed to be done and many things--grammar and spelling errors!--were overlooked, by me, but most importantly the editor.

Still, I can't bury it under the carpet and say it never happened. The book is still available from the publisher and it's a fun suspenseful read, so if you want to check it out please do! www.wingsepress.com
